So, I know it has been a while since I have posted so here is my update as to what is going on at the Milogradov household! Since January, we have had two Texas style snowstorms in which the first one Lucas decided he had no interest in playing in and the second I couldn't get him to come in the house!! I have started a new job as the Theatre Arts Coordinator for the Children's Ministry at our church (Grace Community Church) in Plano. I have only been at it for two weeks, however, it has been so enriching to my life already and I love everyone I work with so I know that God has placed me there for a reason and I have been so happy with this change. It allows me to still take care of Lucas and I have the opportunity to work with other adults and feel responsible for something that uses some brain power :) You moms know what it is like when you are at home with your kids and your "Routine" suddenly feels like a chore that is turning your brain into jello!?!?! That was me before this job...Lucas is growing and changing everyday. He is now over a year and a half and I can't believe in three and a half months he will be 2! Seriously, where does time go after you have kids?? He is now running everywhere and is saying at least one or two new words everyday. For example, he has some Cars pj's and just this morning I asked him who was on his shirt and he told me matter-of-factly, "Lightning!" Love that kid. He really does make me laugh everyday (and also makes me want to pull my hair out, but that's only on occasion!) Other things of interest, I have been making some cakes for people and also with the Valentine's day been doing some baking and trying new recipes! Thanks to my friend, Amy, I have new recipes every week! Talk about a super mom and woman, she is it!!! Mom, wife, friend, bible study leader, yoga instructor, and countless other hats, she makes my simple days seem like a breeze. And I love her! She is such a blessing to my life and I know she is to others as well. Anyway, I guess that is about it. Until next time....
