So, I know it has been a long time since I have posted, but I know there are only a few of you that read this anyway, so let me catch you up if you don't know already. Since my last post, Lucas has turned 2,however he thinks he is 20. He is talking in short sentences, testing our patience, learning his boundaries, and still continues to crack me up. He is now sleeping in his big boy toddler bed a.k.a his crib with the toddler rail on the front! and has a pillow that he will not go to sleep without! He can recall many many pics of animals thanks to Planet Earth and all his picture books, has started counting, and is learning his alphabet. He is also into coloring, finger painting, and play dough. Yes, I braved all the messiest crafts for entertainment while we are roasting here!! We thought about trying the potty training thing, but it comes and goes. Who knows. He may be in diapers until he is 12 or he may just run around naked, which is his preference! He continues to be the light of my life!! We also say goodbye to my brother who will be serving in Iraq until next year. I constantly pray for his safety. Also, he recently met the girl of his dreams and proposed to her while they were in Kuwait! We love Gabby and are excited for her to be a part of the family.
