I don't know about you, but these temps in Dallas are just about to wear me out! I like summer, don't get me wrong. Fun in the sun (as long as you wear sunscreen and try not to worry about skin cancer!) and fresh fruit, long sunny days, sweet tea, and playing in the water. However, when it is so hot you literally break out in a full body sweat just getting into your car, that is when I say it's enough!! I have decided the good Lord needs to cut us a little break or maybe bring those fall temps earlier than October :) Oh well, not really much in my control I guess, but a girl can wish!! In the meantime, Lucas and I have decided playing in the water is the only way to survive these days so I have found a super fun spash park that he loves. And when I say loves I mean screams and giggles and wiggles when I pull into the parking lot and isn't much of a fan when we have played our hearts out and we have to leave. I am glad that he isn't afraid of the water and I hope we can get more of his friends to play with him soon! He went to his buddy's birthday party for his first experience and as you can see, he had a blast!!
