Busy, busy, busy...

So, it has been a while since I have been on here to write anything! Seems like I have immersed myself in many things lately. Just to keep everyone up to speed -because writing this I realize I may need to take a breather :)- I am still working on my purse that I started sewing, what, like a month ago?!?! It is almost complete and hopefully just in time for fall. I recently decided it would be fun to make a birthday cake for a good friend of min from scratch, meaning homemade fondant and icing!! I did manage to do it thanks to the help of my wonderful friend, Tara!! it was actually quite delicious!! I followed the tips from the Make It and Love It blog and I have to say, it was pretty easy and turned out pretty good for my 1st try!!! I have been making wedding invitations for a neighbor friend of mine...pics coming soon! And one tip for anyone interested in doing invitations yourself, make sure your cardstock will go through your printer ;) I have also been planning out my design for our playroom and helping my mom give her house a much need re-vamping!! Many thanks to my hubby for all of his work in this project for sure!!! And on top of all that, Lucas is officially a walker for about a week and a half now!! I have had fun being busy and am starting to really get excited about football season and also all the holidays that are fast approaching!! Whoo-hoo!!!
